We have been using an Accu-Gage dial gauge in our shop on a daily basis for about 10 years, and it is still as accurate as the day it was purchased. Accu-Gage tire gauges have a full geared, solid brass precision movement with bronze bourdon tube. Unlike piston-plunger-type gauges, the bourdon tube movement is not affected by changes in temperature, humidity or altitude.

Gauges feature a durable steel case with polished brass bezel and 2" dial, flexible 11-inch hose between gauge and chuck for hard to reach tire valves, and a swivel-angle chuck. The bezel, stem and pressure release valve assembly are polished brass. The needle holds pressure reading until released. A pushbutton valve bleeds air to desired pressure. All gauges include a protective rubber gauge guard in red for good visibility.

Available in 15, 60, 100, and 160 psi ranges; choose the pressure range that is roughly twice the average tire pressure that needs to be taken. For example, most automotive tires run in the 30 psi range, so a 60 psi gauge would be appropriate. For light truck tires that run in the 50 psi range, the 100 psi gauge would be best. Accu-Gage dial gauges are very accurate (+/- 1.2 psi between 15 and 45 psi for the 60 psi model), but they are most accurate at the middle of their range.
